Difference between Standard-quality rendering and High-quality rendering

For standard-level rendering (economy option), you can expect a good quality rendered 3D floor plan with optimal detailing for finishes (we do use SketchUp software for creating such 3D floor plans).

For high-quality rendering (premium option), you can expect the highest possible rendered 3D apartment plans with enhanced-level detailing for finishes (we do use a combination of two (2) software, which is the most advanced in the industry; we use 3dsMax for 3D modeling and V-ray software for 3D rendering). These 3D floor plans are much more vibrant, photo-realistic, and detailed, compared to standard-level rendering.

How pricing criteria will work if sqft or sqm is not mentioned on the 2D Plans?

In this case, we will consider the below-mentioned criteria:

  • Studio Apartment 3D floor plans, 1 Bedroom Apartment 3D Floor Plans, 2 Bedroom Apartment 3D Floor Plans, and 3 Bedroom Apartment 3D Floor Plans will be considered under 2,000 sqft (smallest size). The base price will be applicable here: $79 for standard-level rendering and $139 for high-quality rendering.
  • 4 Bedroom Apartment 3D Floor Plans will be considered in the range of 2,001 to 2,500 sqft size. $89 for standard-level rendering and $158 for high-quality rendering. Sometimes, 4 Bedroom Apartments are built under 2000 sqft (for example, 1800 sqft to 2000 sqft), in this case, it will be considered for the base pricing (under 2,000 sqft).

Apartment Floor Plans with Garage

There are many benefits to apartment garages. These garages are mainly considered multi-purpose storage areas. You can safely keep storing your valuables as well as for car parking purposes.

Some common variations include:

  1. Tandem garages, which are two garages stacked one behind the other.
  2. Detached garages, which are separate from the main building.
  3. Attached are garages, which are connected to the main building.
  4. Underground garages, are located below the building.
  5. Drive-under garages, which are located beneath the living space.
  6. Carport garages, which are covered parking spaces without walls.

1 Bedroom Apartment Floor Plans

These are bigger than Studio Apartments. A one-Bedroom Apartment is a perfect option for singles, students (1 or 2) as well as couples. The number of different types of 1-bedroom 3D floor plans can vary greatly and is dependent on several factors, such as the size of the property, the layout of the room, and the style of the design. There is no set number of different types of 1-bedroom 3D floor plans, but some common variations include open-concept layouts, L-shaped designs, split-level plans, and traditional rectangular plans. The number of possible variations can be virtually limitless, as designers and architects can customize the plans to meet the specific needs and preferences of each individual client.

2 Bedroom Apartment Floor Plans

These apartment plans have two bedrooms. Plans like this are perfect for a small family (up to four members). These can be used as shared apartments; most students or young couples can use them on a shared basis. Some common variations include open-concept layouts, L-shaped designs, split-level plans, and traditional rectangular plans. There are also variations that include dedicated office space, a shared living and dining area, and separate bathrooms for each bedroom.

3 Bedroom Apartment Floor Plans

A three-bedroom floor plan apartment or home can be used for many purposes. A separate room for children or a room for a share-basis roommate or a home office or a guest room can be arranged in the 3 Bedroom Apartments or Houses. Additionally, 3-bedroom floor plans can be designed with a master suite, a guest suite, or a combination of both.

4 Bedroom Apartment Floor Plans

A 4-bedroom apartment floor plan can be available in a number of different styles. Some may be great for families with lots of kids, while others may be better for adults who want to live with their best friends. The most important thing is to make sure there is plenty of space for everyone.

Some common variations include:

  1. Open-concept layouts feature a large, open living area and kitchen.
  2. Split-level plans, feature bedrooms on different levels for added privacy.
  3. Traditional rectangular plans feature a more traditional layout with separate living, dining, and sleeping areas.
  4. Master suite plans, which feature a large bedroom with a private bathroom and walk-in closet.
  5. Duplex plans feature two units in one building, each with its own separate entrance.

The type of floor plan chosen for a 4-bedroom apartment will depend on the specific needs and preferences of the residents, as well as the size and layout of the property. Some 4-bedroom apartments may also include additional features such as a dedicated office space, a shared living and dining area, and separate bathrooms for each bedroom. The number of garages and storage spaces included in a 4-bedroom apartment floor plan can also vary, with some plans featuring one or two garages, and others featuring multiple garages for each unit.

Why 3D Apartment Floor Plans Have Become the New Standard in Property Marketing

In today’s highly competitive rental market, apartment floor plans in 3D are no longer a luxury -they are an expectation. Prospective renters search online before ever scheduling a tour, and what they see in the first 5 seconds determines whether they click “Book a Tour” or scroll past. A flat, monochromatic 2D blueprint communicates dimensions; a photorealistic 3D apartment floor plan communicates a lifestyle.

Property managers, leasing directors, and marketing managers across the United States and beyond are discovering that upgrading from traditional 2D schematics to rich, furnished apartment 3D renders measurably lifts inquiry rates, shortens vacancy periods, and builds brand credibility for their communities.

Did you know? Studies in real estate marketing consistently show that listings with visual, immersive floor plan content receive significantly higher engagement than those with technical 2D-only blueprints. A 3D apartment layout gives prospective residents the ability to mentally “move in” before they visit -dramatically increasing qualified lead quality.

How to Get Your 3D Apartment Floor Plans: Step-by-Step Process

The ordering process for 3D apartment floor plans is designed to be simple for busy property managers and marketing teams. Here’s exactly what happens from order placement to final delivery:

1. Submit Your 2D Floor Plans

Send your existing 2D apartment floor plans (CAD files, PDFs, hand-drawn sketches – any format works). If your plans don’t include square footage, that’s okay – standard sizing assumptions will be applied based on bedroom count.

2. Provide Custom Specifications (Optional but Recommended)

Share your preferences for furniture style, flooring materials (carpet, hardwood, LVT, tile), appliance colors (stainless steel is most popular), countertop materials (granite, quartz, stone), and cabinetry finishes. You can also send actual photographs of the units – designers will match colors and finishes directly from photos.

3. Select Economy or Premium Rendering

Choose Standard-level (Economy, from $79) or High-quality (Premium, from $139) rendering. For bulk orders of 10+ units, request a custom discounted quote. Rush delivery (24-hour turnaround) is available upon request.

4. Design & Rendering (3–4 Business Days)

Your dedicated designer builds the 3D apartment floor plan using SketchUp (Economy) or 3ds Max + V-Ray (Premium). Every detail – from furniture placement to flooring texture to lighting – is crafted to your specifications.

5. Review & Request Revisions (Unlimited)

You receive high-resolution JPEG or PNG files. If anything isn’t perfect – furniture position, finish color, layout label – request revisions at no extra charge. Revisions continue until you are 100% satisfied.

6. Download & Deploy

Your final apartment 3D renders are print-ready and web-optimized. Use them on your property website, ILS listings (Apartments.com, Zillow, CoStar), leasing brochures, email campaigns, or digital signage.

Custom Specifications: How to Get 3D Floor Plans That Perfectly Match Your Units

Generic 3D floor plans look generic. The real competitive advantage comes from custom 3D apartment floor plans that mirror your actual unit finishes so precisely that a prospective resident can look at the render and immediately recognize your community’s aesthetic.

No specifications? No problem. Many clients submit their apartment floor plans with no finish details at all. In that case, the design team applies tasteful, contemporary default specifications – neutral flooring, stainless appliances, clean cabinetry – that work for any marketing context. You can always request changes afterward.

2D to 3D Apartment Floor Plan Conversion: Transform What You Already Have

Most property managers already have existing 2D apartment floor plans — whether from their architect, building permits, or previous marketing materials. The 2D to 3D floor plan conversion service transforms these flat technical drawings into vivid, furnished photorealistic renders.

You don’t need CAD files or professionally drafted blueprints. Hand-drawn sketches, scanned PDFs, photographs of paper plans, or even rough measurements can all serve as the starting input for a full 3D apartment floor plan conversion.

Specialty Apartment Floor Plans: Garages, Multi-Story, Luxury, and More

Apartment Floor Plans with Garage

Garage apartments are a growing category in suburban and mixed-use markets. Whether the garage is attached, detached, tandem, underground, or a drive-under configuration, a 3D apartment floor plan with garage can clearly communicate storage and parking arrangements to prospective renters – a significant decision factor in car-dependent markets.

Garage TypeDescription3D Render Benefit
Tandem GarageTwo spaces stacked front-to-backShows depth & single-car access clearly
Attached GarageConnected directly to living unitShows interior connection & utility space
Detached GarageSeparate structure on propertyShown on site plan or separate unit render
Underground GarageBelow the buildingCross-section or separate level shown
Drive-Under GarageBeneath the living spaceShows relation to unit above
CarportCovered parking, no full wallsStructure shown in 3D context

Multi-Story Apartment Floor Plans

2-story and 3-story apartment building plans – including townhouse-style units and walk-up apartment buildings – require careful 3D treatment that communicates vertical flow. Key considerations include staircase rendering, ceiling heights per floor, and how bedrooms on upper floors relate to common areas below.

Luxury Apartment Floor Plans in 3D

For high-end communities, luxury apartment floor plans 3D using Premium rendering (3ds Max + V-Ray) deliver the ultra-photorealistic quality that justifies premium rent pricing. Deep material textures, precise shadow simulation, and aspirational furnishings create renders that feel more like interior photography than technical drawings.

5 Common Mistakes Property Managers Make with Apartment Floor Plans

Even experienced property management professionals sometimes overlook critical elements when ordering or deploying apartment floor plans. Here are the most common mistakes – and how to avoid them:

Using the Same Floor Plan for Differently Finished Units

If two identical-layout apartments have different finishes (e.g., one has carpet, another has hardwood), they should have separate 3D apartment floor plans. Prospects make decisions based on finishes, not just layout.

Not Including Dimensions on Marketing Renders

Labeled dimensions on an apartment floor plan with dimensions help prospects assess whether their furniture fits — a top concern for renters. Adding dimensions costs nothing and dramatically increases plan usefulness.

Choosing Economy Rendering for Luxury Units

Standard-level renders are great for most units. But using them for your penthouse or luxury flagship units is a missed opportunity. Premium rendering quality signals the premium nature of the unit itself.

Waiting Until After Construction to Order Floor Plans

Pre-leasing campaigns can begin the moment architectural plans are finalized. 3D apartment renders based on architectural drawings let you start marketing months before move-in-ready units exist.

Using Low-Resolution Floor Plan Images on Your Website

A small, pixelated apartment floor layout image damages credibility. Always request high-resolution deliverables (which is standard) and ensure your website displays them at full quality.

Frequently Asked Questions: 3D Apartment Floor Plans

What is a 3D apartment floor plan and how is it different from a 2D plan?

3D apartment floor plan is a photorealistic, bird’s-eye rendering of an apartment’s layout showing furniture, finishes, appliances, flooring, and decor in full color and 3D perspective. A traditional 2D plan shows only walls, doors, and dimensions using lines and symbols. 3D plans are far more intuitive for non-technical audiences – meaning prospective residents, not just architects.

How do I submit my apartment plans for a 3D rendering?

You can submit existing plans in any format – CAD files (.dwg, .dxf), PDFs, JPEGs, or even photos of hand-drawn sketches. You send them via email or the online order form along with any custom specifications for finishes and furniture. If you have no specifications, default contemporary styling will be applied.

How long does it take to get 3D apartment floor plans?

Standard delivery takes 3–4 business days for up to 10 units. For larger orders (e.g., 30 different unit types), expect 8–10 business days. Rush 24-hour delivery is available – just mention it when submitting your order.

Can you match the 3D floor plan to the actual photos of my apartment units?

Yes. This is one of the most popular options. Send actual photographs of your apartment units and the design team will extract furniture styles, flooring materials, appliance colors, and finish details directly from the photos to create an accurate representation.

What’s the difference between Economy and Premium 3D apartment floor plans?

Economy (from $79) uses SketchUp and delivers solid, professional-quality renders. Premium (from $139) uses 3ds Max + V-Ray – the industry-leading combination – for ultra-photorealistic results with enhanced lighting, deeper texture detail, and more vibrant visuals. Both are fully customizable and come with unlimited revisions.

Do you offer bulk or volume discounts for large apartment communities?

Yes. Discounted pricing is available for large-volume orders. Contact the team with your unit count and variety of floor plan types to receive a custom bulk quote. Regular clients with 275+ repeat orders benefit from ongoing pricing arrangements.

Can you create 3D floor plans for apartment buildings under construction?

Absolutely. Architectural drawings, blueprints, or CAD files from your design team are sufficient input. Many property developers use this service to market and pre-lease units months before construction is complete.

What file formats do I receive when my 3D apartment floor plans are delivered?

You receive high-resolution JPEG and/or PNG files that are both print-ready and web-ready. These files are suitable for digital listing platforms, website uploads, large-format printing for leasing offices, and brochure-quality print production.

How are you able to offer such low prices on 3D apartment floor plans?

The team’s experienced designers, established workflows, high-volume order processing, and operational base in India keep overhead costs extremely low – and those savings are passed directly to clients. You receive enterprise-quality work at a price point that makes it practical to render every unit type in your community.

Do you handle studio type apartment floor plans and efficiency apartment floor plans?

Yes. Studio apartment 3D floor plansefficiency apartment floor plans, and micro-unit layouts are all handled with the same expertise as larger apartment types. The design team is skilled at showcasing the cleverness of small-space design – room dividers, Murphy beds, fold-out furniture – in ways that make compact units look appealing.
